Hi! Welcome to our site.
Change of plans!!!

The date has been changed to Saturday April 14, 2001. The wedding will take place in Ada, Oklahoma instead of California. It will be at the Ada Arts and Heritage Center 2:00 p.m. We will make our home at 714 W. 2nd in Ada, Oklahoma. I have decided that Jay Davenport will be my best-man. Elsa has asked her friend Kristy Williams to be her maid of honor.


The Engagement

It was September 2, 2000, Saturday evening at the park. I chose a swinging bench on the east side of the lake at Wintersmith Park. This gave a beautiful view of the lake, the university and the setting sun. We had planned to eat dinner at Polo's Mexican resturant with my family and some friends. We stopped off at Wintersmith on the way there so I could show her the park. After we sat there for a while a couple of people came walking around the park. The guy had a video camera and was filming different things. He stopped where we were and said he was testing out his new camera and asked if he could film us to try out the microphone. I said, "Sure." and he proceeded to ask us our names and where we were from. Elsa thought he was spoiling a special moment for us, but when I started talking about how much I loved Elsa and then knelt down and pulled the ring out of the camera bag that he had conviently placed next to me, then she realized what was going on. It was so perfect. She didn't suspect anything until the last minute. We headed to the resturant with the camera and my friend Jay had a TV and VCR set up so everyone could see the wonderful event. Even though the day was hot and passed by too quickly, I'll never forget that wonderful day.
